Commercial Lease Rent Bumps

It seems my commercial tenants are using the economy to beat me up on their lease renewals lately. They do not want to honor the rent increases (bumps) as specified in the original lease. Is this happening to anyone else and how are you handling it? I own a couple of strip centers and a couple of dollar store buildings.
