Thanks so much for your detail reply. It is a blessing that we beginners can ask someone so knowledgeable and experienced and honest like you in the field directly!
If you don't mind, can you explain a little bit more why you think retail until is not a good investment even in good time? If instead of buying an unti, would buying a strip mall make it better as you may have more control if you own the mall?
And in your opinion, if you start from scratch again, where would you start your investing in a good economy as a beginner? In small apartment building?
