I have heard conflicting claims in regards to the following question. Is it loan fraud to put down on a purchase and sales aggreement the sellers name in such fashion: Seller - Joe and Susie Homeowner and Joe Investor agree to sell 123 Main st blah blah blah. The idea is to show the owners name first when a title search is done to avoid the title seasoning issue. My name is also on the contract since I have and option and am acting as a principal. Is this a legal thing to do??????????????
