I'm no expert on what is and is not loan fraud. My approach is one of common sense, ethics and gut. If the financing bank is on notice as to what is transpiring, there is no fraud. The question is, does your name on the contract provide enough notice to the bank that this isn't a simple sale from the homeowners? I'd say "sure", but again, I'm no expert on the subject.
