Here's what I've found out to date: The sales agent has moved to another state with no forwarding number, the original mortgage co. is no longer in operation, and the mortgage seems to be the only documentation linking me to this property. I'm going to my county records office Monday and see where it leads...I'm starting to doubt if the sale was even legal.
