Hello all,
learned something today that might be helpful to some of you.
A buyer who had a 3 day notice from the park was not answering his cell phone apparently, when he saw it was either the PM or I calling on his phone caller ID.
I did not want to go through the park evicting him right now, or repossession, because he is in the process of repairing the home after the fire damage.
I use a computer phone service called "skype" it uses the microphone in my computer, it is wonderfully clear sound, so I rang my house phone with it as a test, and sure enough it shows up as "unknown" on the caller id.
So I call the buyer, who I had just tried 20 minutes before, and low and behold, he answered.
we had the facts discussion about if you get evicted, I have to repossess the home, and he said he is on the way to the park to pay his bill.... I'll know later if he followed through... sigh and laugh.
