I'm currently working on an older home that had the electric service replaced when I bought it. I just assumed it was a two hundred amp service. But later I found out it was a 125 amp with a 100 amp wire run to it. For a time it looked as though I was going to have to go with a gas heater or either retro fit it with a two hundred amp service. Which would cost more than I paid for the trailer. I finally got around this by having my electrician re rout the wire going to the stove to the heater. Then disconnecting one of the heat strips making the heater a 10kw instead of a 15kw. Then installing a gas stove which isn't a deal killer when trying to rent like a gas heater would have been.
