You may check that the home must actually close by Nov 30th. I thought I read or overheard that any homes under contract by Nov 30 would be allowed to close and still receive the tax credit. I DONT KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE but in your situation it would be worth checking with a competent tax attorney to interpret and verify the code for you.
