What's REALLY working, now?

I would like to know what is really working in today's market? I read alot about short sales, but are they worth the time and energy? Are there still enough investors to do wholesale deals? What's the possibility of buying with owner financing, then reselling with a wrap?

I just need input on the different strategies, and what's really working for everyone.
