Agreed. Who we meet along the way definitely has an influence, sometimes not so positive.

We sold our last rental this year and are officially tenant free. Of course, we often acquire unwanted tenants when buying foreclosures, but those are very short term. It's nice to know we aren't going to get any of those nuisance repair calls anymore, not that we got a lot. There's just a peace of mind there now.
I'm still envious of your problem solving talents. It must be very satisfying. I think I'm more of an opportunist in my line of business. I enjoy it, but it doesn't always test my brain like your stuff would.
