I am a real estate agent. I have listed a few short sales and closed on a few. I have been wanting to buy these and flip them. But I am trying to figure out away to stay in control of the listing and still be the investor. When I list the property it is my duty to represent the interest of the Seller. NAR has specific Ethics. I have seen several of these transactions close locally with some pretty good spreads. What would you do if you were me.
I can't do them with my current listings. That would be a break of fuduciary duty. Plus my Broker would have me for lunch.
