I am purchasing a property that was sold in September to a contractor who is flipping it. When the contractor bought the property over the summer the title had some liens on it. He took care of them in order to purchase the house. Now the title is still showing those liens while I am trying to buy the house. Does this happen often that liens are not properly removed? If in fact they are all taken care of how long should it take to resolve?
