You do not need a real estate license if you are going to invest for yourself. In fact it could be a hinderence. You only need a license if you are going to sell other peoples properties. What you would normally learn in a R.E. course is how to sell other people's properties, not how to invest. You learn that here and/or by reading books or taking courses.
